Media & Speaking

While my heart is rooted in quiet, unhurried conversations, my work as an author, elder, and death midwife has occasionally found its way into a wider circle. Over the years, I have been invited onto podcasts and stages, before community groups and into print to share what a lifetime of experiencing, observing and listening has taught me. If you are looking to bring these themes to your community, or if you simply want to explore my past work, you will find a curated archive of those moments gathered here—this page is the foundation for what I am still living, speaking, and writing today.

Book Sequel

Confessions of a Bone Woman, told the story of a woman putting herself back together — bone by bone, against every expectation her world held for her.

The sequel picks up where that story ends.

Cindie White spent the first half of her life mastering the visible world — the achievements, the addresses, the appearances, everything a woman is told will finally be enough. Then she walked away from all of it. On purpose.

Now in her late sixties, she is writing the book she couldn’t have written sooner. A decade of fierce transitions — divorce after thirty-two years, a cross-country move, a complete reinvention in a city where no one knew her name — has given her something no amount of success ever did: the freedom to live entirely on her own terms.

This is a book about what lives beneath the surface of a curated life. About the invisible world — wild, ancient, and sacred — that never stopped calling. And about what becomes possible when a woman finally answers.

Coming soon.
